The countries identified for the Oceania Region of the IAEM are based upon the United Nations definition of Oceania, and this is almost identical to the membership of the Pacific Islands Applied Geoscience Commission (SOPAC).
The countries included are listed below. The two-letter abbreviations are the ISO 3166-1 country codes.
