Why did I receive an out-of-office email message?

The email list is set up to attempt to intercept most messages created when someone sets an out-of-office auto-reply. The mailing list software should stop most of these messages reaching the list, but on occasions they may get through. This does not indicate that anything is wrong.
We would recommend that you just delete them if you receive them.
