Subject: Use of "MIAEM" Post Nominal's by IAEM Oceania Region Members.

Dear Colleagues,

The Oceania Region President in an email on the 21st May 2007 authorised members of the Oceania Region of the IAEM to use the post nominal "MIAEM".

Please be advised, in order to maintain the integrity of the post nominal usage and to promote the Oceania Region, the following protocols must be followed.

1) The post nominal is to be "MIAEM" with no full stops or commas between the letters.
2) It is to be used after formal post nominal and qualifications (e.g. MBA, JP, etc) as it has not been given an order of precedence.
3) Members are only entitled to use the post nominal whilst remaining a current financial member of IAEM Oceania.
4) Those wishing to use the "MIAEM" must inform the Secretary, Oceania Region to ensure its integrity and prevent misuse by non members.

It is the intent of the executive of the Oceania Region to have a formalised post nominal authorised by the IAEM board in due course, therefore it is essential that we monitor the usage and demand for such a post nominal.

Those members with feedback or suggestions on this topic are requested to contact the Secretary, IAEM Oceania.
