The conference will be themed “Getting it Right” and will be focussed for hospital, nursing home and healthcare facility emergency procedures, which need to comply with Australian Standard (AS) 4083-1997 Planning for Emergencies – Healthcare Facilities, (and the various colour coded emergencies) and AS 3745-2002 Emergency Control Organisation.
Ideally suited participants are emergency management or procedures officers/coordinators/managers, fire safety officers, emergency procedures committee members/chairs or any person with an interest in or responsibility for health emergency procedures.
Anticipated number attending is 150. The registration cost of the conference is not expected to exceed $200 per participant.
This will be the first opportunity for those involved with health emergency procedures to congregate together, to hear what our colleagues from around the country are doing, and the successes they have achieved.
