The 2007 emergency management conference combining the annual conferences of the Institution of Fire Engineers (NZ Branch) and the North Island Civil Defence Emergency Managers will be held in Wellington October 4 and 5 at the Wellington Convention Centre.
The Conference provides a forum for current trends and topics and shares information about the latest tools and technology in emergency management. Break-away sessions encourage stakeholders at all levels of government, the private sector, public health, emergency services and related professions to exchange ideas on collaborating to protect lives and property from disaster.
